Women on Farms aims to gather young participants in 2018

The 2018 Women on Farms Gathering Committee (WOFG2018) wants to welcome 18-35 years olds who have found their way to the farm, as a wife, a mum, a friend and a farmer.

We will be celebrating the challenges and adventures of loving farming and living in regional and rural communities when we hold the annual gathering at Rosebud, Mornington Peninsula,  on 16-18 March.

As part of this process, the Women on Farms Gathering 2018 committee is also promoting their aims through monthly missions.

The July-August challenge is to ‘meet’, via social media, 31 or more Young Victorian Farmers.

Through this process we will learn each woman’s story and welcome her into the wonderful history of Victorian gatherings.

Access the WOFG2018 Young Farmer profile questions  and tell your story.

The response to date has been great, but more profiles are needed for the promotion.

The end goal is to achieve attendance of 25 per cent of participants under 35yrs (88+ delegates) to WOFG2018 HQ in Rosebud in March 2018.

Through this process we will learn each woman’s story and welcome her into the wonderful history of Victorian gatherings.
