Tim Gibson

Tim is a past dairy farmer, passionate about robotic milking.

Area of expertise: dairy farming, robotics, service and support, sales.

Experience: First visited farms with AMS in 2000 in Holland and installed first 2 Lely A2 robots in the North of England on my own dairy farm in 2001. By 2002 entered into a sales and service role with Lely and by 2005 became the first independently owned “Lely Centre” in partnership with Lely. In 2013 split off from 24/7 service to concentrate on advice and support to other farmer users of robots and concentrate more on my own farm.

Current project(s):advisor, public speaker and broker of robotic milking systems. Formed the “Association of Robotic Milkers” ARM which is the foundation for a world wide user group.

Why join the AMS CoP? It seems a natural fit with the knowledge and daily experience I have in the field, every day we learn more, and the more like minds working together the more that can be learnt by all and shared to many more
