Gaia EnviroTech is the bioenergy and organic waste management division of Gekko Systems with headquarters based in Ballarat, Victoria.  Gaia’s own anaerobic digestion and rapid composting technology systems are robust and designed for Australian conditions, providing the agricultural, food manufacturing and processing industries with environmentally sustainable and economically viable organic waste management solutions. 

Modular by design, the Gaia EnviroTech anaerobic digester is both highly configurable and efficient; allowing each step of the digestion process to be optimised for greater biogas production, and thereby energy generation, from a particular feed material.  Gaia EnviroTech provide end-to-end solutions by working with each client to ensure a holistic approach to organic waste management, including pre-and-post processing, and energy utilisation.  

KEY PROJECTS

AD system at Trigg Farm Robotic Dairy (with scraper system) provides treatment of ~12m3 cattle manure per day, with an average biogas production of 250m3 per day.*

AD demonstration facility at a dairy operation in Tasmania provides treatment of ~5m3 of cheese whey per day, with an average methane production rate of 20m3 per 1m3 of feed.
