MEG has had 50 years successfully designing, building and maintaining biogas plants and electrical generators. With hundreds of biogas plants and thousands of generators in operation throughout the world, including a dozen in Australia, MEG is the world's only fully-integrated, end-to-end biogas and generator systems designer and manufacturer. According to Caterpillar's market research, MEG around 80% of the biogas generator market in the USA.

MEG's manufacturing plant is in Tipton, Missouri and its construction arm is in Mountain View, California. The Australian HQ is in Canowindra in the NSW Central West. Its reach is Australasia, Asia, Canada, the US and all of Latin America.

MEG works in the following sectors: Livestock and meat processing, poultry and poultry processing, piggeries, dairies and dairy processing, produce growers such as greenhouses and a range of food manufacturing sectors. 

On the NSW-Victorian border at Thyra we have a large biogas plant with associated generators and flares for a piggery owned by SunPork (formerly PigCo), headquartered in Melbourne. MEGA has built eight biogas plants in Australia and has five more under construction or about to commence.

MEG has also active R&D programs with the FightFoodWaste CRC and partners such as the USQ and Richgro to optimise biogas yield and plant stability from mixed waste.
