Garth Short on producing free range eggs in Quorrobolong

There’s one thing small scale poultry farms have in common – soon after getting started there are a lot of things that arise that the new operators hadn’t previously considered. The good news is there is a lot of help available.

Garth Short, free range poultry producer in the Hunter Valley NSW talks about his experience with the Local Land Services and NSW Department of Primary Industries, and how this helped him progress his business. In the video Garth shares his story about fox control and the how purchasing an egg grading machine called Shelley helped his business grow.
