Applications open for 2018 Red Meat Design Sprints

Do you want to be a part of the next big thing in red meat?

Rocket Seeder – the leading food and agriculture startup accelerator – will host three innovation and entrepreneurship design sprints during April in conjunction with Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) Donor Company.

Warragul – Thursday 12 April, Farm World, Lardner Park

Melbourne – Wednesday 18 April, Monash University, Clayton Campus

Ballarat – Thursday 19 April, Ballarat South, Community Hub.

These sprints are designed to take innovators and entrepreneurs in the red meat value chain from idea to prototype in a single day!

Changing consumer trends, lifestyles and life-stages represent new high value growth opportunities for Australia’s red meat industry. With the global demand for protein increasing, and red meat playing a key role in the Australian diet, the opportunity for novel, meat-based food products to capture a share of the market is strong.

The design sprints involve guided activities such as idea generation, sketching, prototyping and pitching in collaboration with a number of representatives from key areas across the red meat industry.

Register your interest as soon as possible as spaces are strictly limited.

Attendance is subject to approval on application.
