PLAY Market Research (PLAYMR) has joined the Monash Food Innovation Centre (FIC) to provide a complete end-to-end consumer and shopper research approach.

The partnership brings together the best of capabilities, expertise and toys at the Monash FIC in Clayton.

About the Monash FIC

The Monash Food Innovation Centre (FIC) in Clayton is focused on the survival and renewal of the Australian food sector by collaborating with businesses to build a brighter future in food manufacturing. The Centre is an industry shared world class facility operated by industry and innovation practitioners. The Monash FIC is a Registered Service Provider for the Food Innovation Voucher program.

In 2017, the Centre:

  • engaged with over 2,500 businesses or individuals ranging from startups; small to medium enterprises (SMEs); multinationals; research hubs; local, state and federal governments; along with international businesses from China, Indonesia and Singapore.
  • hosted 26 events, including ‘China Pathways’ with China National Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Corporation (COFCO) and Alibaba; Food Fraud; Gut Health symposiums and the evergreen ‘Bringing New Product Ideas To life’ workshops.
  • worked with more than 75 businesses on innovation projects and programs.
