Tristan Wardley is an experienced Farm Economist working across the grains, dairy and livestock industries with a particular emphasis on risk analysis and farm innovation and investment. During his career Tristan has lectured in project management and production economics at Melbourne and La Trobe universities, advised and presented research nationally for various government and private organisations within the agriculture sector and currently works for Agriculture Victoria as a farm economist.
Tristan is completing a PhD in farm economics ‘Subsoil amelioration: Profitability, Risk and Resource allocation’ and is passionate about the agriculture industry. He is dedicated to rigorous farm economic analysis and has a particular interest in teaching and extension. Tristan is a qualified horticulturist and spent a decade project managing in the construction industry.
