Paul Blackshaw is a farm business advisor with Meridian Agriculture, based in Rutherglen in North East Victoria. Paul provides services in farm financial analysis, benchmarking, farm business performance, and succession planning. He previously worked as a Farm Business Economist for Agriculture Victoria, delivering the Livestock Farm Monitor Project, and as a Rural Financial Counsellor.

Paul has been involved in the Young Farmer Business Bootcamps over the past few years, and enjoys motivating young farmers to understand their businesses, being challenged by the groups, and hearing farmers backgrounds, aspirations and goals.

Paul understands that farm businesses are very complex and for those new to farming and business management it can take time to get your head around it all, but that farming can be a very profitable and a very rewarding career for those willing to gain further understanding.
