Flood recovery activity: March towards feed quality

When: 18 April 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Where: Online Webinar
Organiser: Agriculture Victoria

Has your feed quality been affected by floods or storms?

Did you cut hay or silage later than expected?

How does this year’s grain stack up for energy and protein?

Agriculture Victoria is offering feed quality tests to check the quality of feed sources. There are a limited number of tests available, so we’re encouraging farmers to register now.

After the results have been returned, Agriculture Victoria will host a series of webinars in the community to discuss test results and options to keep your stock as productive as possible.

WHAT:          One free feed quality test (NIR)

Producers are encouraged to undertake additional tests on other key feeds, at their own cost.

Date:            Feed tests are available until Friday 31 March
Webinar Tuesday 18 April at 7pm

REGISTER:    Scan the QR code or click here:  https://bit.ly/feedqualitytestrego
Participants will automatically be registered for a follow-up webinar

Topics to be discussed at follow up webinars:

  • Feed test result interpretation
  • Feeding Livestock website
  • Basic ration formulation
  • Flood recovery support
