Seasonal reminder: Salmonella Enteritidis (SE) sampling

The start of the new climatic season is a good time for NSW egg producers to complete required Salmonella Enteritidis (SE) environmental sampling. Sample all sheds every 12–15 weeks, submit samples to an approved NSW laboratory, and keep results for audit purposes. Testing is free (postage applies). Seasonal sampling supports compliance and on‑farm biosecurity.
