NSW DPI’s H₂Cuts demonstration trailer – a renewably powered mobile barber shop themed as a shearing shed – will offer free haircuts at the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days for those that missed the last muster due to Covid 19. The trailer demonstrates hydrogen fuel cell, solar photovoltaic and lithium ion battery storage technologies and has been developed to initiate conversations with the agriculture sector as it explores pathways to move towards net zero and to reduce energy costs.

The Mudgee Small Farm Field Days is a two-day, annual event that has been running for over 40 years and attracts approximately 20,000 people per year so come and say g’day, have a chat about future power alternatives and get a free haircut!

Location: Field Day site 2.5 kms north of Mudgee township, NSW
