Ruby has extensive experience as a research scientist, specialising in crops and pastures. Recently, Ruby has joined the Horticulture Team at Agriculture Victoria, where she engages with growers in the Goulburn-Murray region of Victoria. She also leads the coordination of the Apples and Pears Integrated Pest and Disease Management Community of Practice, with members located across the nation. Ruby also has a master’s in emergency management, enabling her to understand the needs of growers, in times of natural disasters, and better provide support and advice regarding building resilience in to on farm practices.
