Taylors Lake

The Taylors Lake SMM site is 15km east of Horsham in the Wimmera district of Victoria.

Soil core from the Taylors Lake paddock, which highlights a gradual change in soil characteristics down the profile. Weather station and telemetry unit of the Taylors Lake soil moisture monitoring site located on the fence line between two paddocks. Soil core pulley system used to create a one metre soil core, which enables 10 centimetre samples to be taken in the paddock and also enable visual identification of soil layers.
