We value the engagement of trawl fishers and others in the Network and ask that all individuals accept and observe the following principles:

• The Network is an independent, apolitical, and safe space for individuals to gain access to information and express their thoughts and ideas consistent with the mission of the Network
• Individuals respect differing opinions and perspectives, and accept that such differences are equally valid
• Network content is inspiring, evidence-based, solution focused, and disruptive of the status quo, and yet consistent with the achievement of sustainable development outcomes
• The three core elements of sustainable development, economic growth, social inclusion and equality, and environmental protection, are considered equally important
