Do you need support to develop business opportunities and make new products?  Up to $50,000 is now available to boost your business.

Eligible businesses cover categories including Food Innovation, Social Enterprise Capability, Asia Gateway, Entrepreneurs with Disability and others.

Successful applicants will partner with top universities and industry experts to provide services to enable businesses to:

• identify and secure international market development and export opportunities
• develop or commercialise new products and improve process innovation
• position your business or company for future growth.

This is the third round of vouchers through Agriculture Victoria’s Food Innovation Network, with the first two rounds providing more than $6 million support to more than 200 Victorian businesses.

New to round three for the Food Innovation Voucher program are the Research and Development, and Early Stage Feasibility and Testing vouchers, designed for smaller businesses with at least 10 full- time employees or turnover greater than $500,000.  This recognises there are smaller businesses in the ecosystem that require support that would otherwise be ineligible to apply.

A round two recipient in the Food Innovation category was JuJube Australia.  The jujube fruit is a red date, otherwise known as a Chinese date. JuJube Australia partnered with a registered service provider to develop a range of potential products including a high-end packaged jujube in chocolate.
