We #plantchallenge you!

In the lead up to Botanic Gardens Day on 31 May, we #plantchallenge you to share your isolation plant story in a short 45 second video!

“#Plantchallenge is a great way, in this strange time for all of us, to tell our plant stories. More than ever people are connecting with nature as they are spending time at home, giving us all a great opportunity to share our stories about a special plant, and what these connections with nature mean to us,” said Botanic Gardens Ambassador Costa Georgiadis.

Share your video on social media with the hashtags #plantchallenge and #BGANZ and tag your friends to challenge them to share their plantspiration. You can also email your video to [email protected] or [email protected], and they will upload it for you.

From the favourite, weird and wonderful, to veggies, natives or family heirlooms… whatever the plant is, we’d love to hear your plant story!

Daniela from the Botanic Gardens Biosecurity Network has filmed her very own #plantchallenge video in the National Arboretum’s Himalayan cedar forest. Check out her video on our Facebook page or watch it below.

The Botanic Gardens #Plantchallenge is hosted by Botanic Gardens Australia and New Zealand (BGANZ) Inc. in conjunction with 100+ participating botanic gardens across both countries. All participating botanic gardens are listed on www.bganz.org.au

Keep an eye on the BGANZ Facebook and Instagram to see their favourite #plantchallenge stories.
