The Australian Government has launched a new grants program ‘Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises’, to support businesses to upgrade or replace inefficient equipment to improve their energy efficiency while addressing Australia’s carbon footprint.

What do you get?

The grant will cover 100% of expenditure on eligible energy efficiency projects priced between $10,000-$25,000.

It is expected that there will be a high level of interest for this grant opportunity, and it may be oversubscribed. This is a demand driven grant opportunity. Grants will be awarded to eligible applicants on a first come, first served basis until the funding is exhausted in each jurisdiction.

Who are they for?

Grants will be available for ‘all’ small and medium sized business with an employee headcount from 1 to 199.

Applications are open from 6 March 2023 to 19 April 2023. There is a total of $16 Million available for this grant program.
