Adam Upton

Adam Upton has come from a long line of orchardists dating back to 1908. After completing his studies in Applied Science Agriculture at Dookie College, he worked in the chemical and fertiliser industry working for one of Austalia’s largest resellers in an agronomist role based in the Yarra Valley.

He has also worked for one of Australia’s largest cherry orchards as a production agronomist across 7 farms.

His experience includes all areas of IPDM, management of compliance to export markets as well as a wide knowledge base of soil science and nutrition.

In addition to running his own independent agronomy service, he is currently the chair of the local Queensland Fruit Fly governance group looking after the network of traps throughout the Yarra Valley.
