David Williams (Retired) was a Principal Research Scientist- Invertebrate and Weed Sciences in Agriculture Victoria’s Research Division. David is recognised nationally and internationally for his expertise in development and adoption of IPM and currently leads the PIPS IPDM project. His extensive network includes researchers, extension specialists and consultants in pest management, IPM, chemical ecology, invasive species, and pesticide resistance management in Europe, Asia, S. Africa, the Americas and Canada, and New Zealand. He has over 40 years of experience in research, development and extension in IPM especially related to pome and stone fruit production. David still contributes to IPM projects.
