Paul James is the Research, Development and Grower Technical Services Manager with Lenswood Apples (Lenswood Cooperative), the major producer and marketer of apples grown in South Australia. Paul has been in the position for 6 years. He was previously PIRSA’s Temperate Fruit Specialist for 28 years, specialising in apple and pear production. He has an extensive research and extension background and has been involved in a large number of research and extension projects, including IPM development for the SA and Australian Apple and Pear Industry. He is currently the South Australian Front Line Advisor for the Future Orchards project. Paul has day to day technical involvement with the South Australian apple growers.
