Awareness of others

In order to be successful as change agents we need to be able to collaborate effectively. Crucial to this is recognizing differences in others. It fosters empathy, understanding, and respect. When we acknowledge and appreciate diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences, we create more inclusive and harmonious environments. This not only enhances personal relationships but also drives innovation and creativity in collaborative settings.

Similarly, if we are to help producers make changes within their businesses we need to recognise and understand the many social principles associated with primary production.

This resource is designed to enhance your confidence and skills when working with others to effect change i.e. “the art of collaboration” and how to best understand and engage with the diversity that exists amongst primary producers i.e. “know your audience”.

Keep coming back to this resource as we invite people to contribute their personal reflections on the art of collaboration, and explore the concept of know your audience as we post examples of ag population studies that includes the context of why the studies were undertaken, and they value they provide in adoption planning.
