Metrics

The phrase “You can’t manage what you can’t measure” emphasizes the importance of using quantifiable metrics to manage and improve processes effectively. By measuring outcomes, you can evaluate strategies, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions. This is as true for adoption as any other discipline.

However, it’s also important to recognize that not everything can be measured. Effective management often requires balancing measurable data with qualitative insights and intuition.

From an adoption perspective knowing what to measure and when can be tricky. We want to make every effort count. Similarly, we don’t want to waste our time collecting data that provides no value.

This resource is designed to guide you through the process of monitoring and evaluation and provide clarity on when, why and how to generate useful metrics as it relates to adoption.
