The FloMo codend is an innovative fishing technology designed to improve the selectivity, survivability, and quality of the catch. Unlike traditional mesh codends, the FloMo codend uses a composite fabric cylinder with apertures of varying sizes and patterns. This design creates a low-turbulence environment, allowing fish to swim naturally and reducing damage.
