The United Nations has provided a shared blueprint for global activity and decision-making based on 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These goals aim to eliminate deprivations such as food insecurity, poverty and inequality, while simultaneously improving health and education and promoting economic growth. They also emphasize the importance of tackling climate change and preserving the oceans.
