Heleen Kruger is a social scientist that has been investigating the social and institutional aspects of Australian agriculture for more than 10 years, including projects on community engagement, social networks, labour productivity, the social impacts of pests, weeds and diseases, general surveillance, area-wide management of pests and agricultural innovation systems.

She works in the Social Sciences team of the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES) within the Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment.
