Dr Cooper Schouten is the project manager for the Bees for Sustainable Livelihoods Research Group at Southern Cross University.

Cooper specialises in international apicultural research and has beekeeping capacity building, training, research and extension experience working throughout the Indo-Pacific region with local government, private sector and NGO’s. He runs a small beekeeping business himself and has experience working with commercial beekeepers in Northern NSW.
