Kellyanne has worked for Agriculture Victoria for 19 years. Currently mentoring and supervising staff and overseeing the management of several grains projects including CropSafe, GRDC Communities Field Crop Diseases, GRDC GrowNotes™ Alert & the Victorian Winter Crop Summary as well as the Agriculture Services Young Farmer Project.
Kellyanne worked extensively in the red meat industry as an extension officer throughout Victoria and nationally (with the Beef CRC). Kellyanne managed LandLearn and the DPI Young Scientists Programs in the former DPI (now DJPR), sat on committees for the Young Farmers Scholarship Program and was the Departmental representative on the 2011 inquiry into agricultural education and training in Victoria & the 2012 inquiry into the Capacity of the Farming Sector to Attract and Retain Young Farmers and Respond to an Ageing Workforce (the young farmers inquiry).
Kellyanne has a Bachelor of Agriculture Science (Honours), Masters of Agribusiness.
Googles Docs is Kellyanne’s favorite app for work as it allows for real-time collaboration. Gone are the days of sending word documents to edit and awaiting responses. Her other favorite is Canva. Canva is a design and publishing website – enables us to make flyers, graphics for social media, infographics and much more.
