North-east Victorian livestock farmer, Lib Paton, is encouraging young farmers to sign up for the Tallangatta Young Farmer Business Bootcamp coming in June

The bootcamp gives anyone in a farm business position the opportunity to enhance their financial skills, and directly apply this in their everyday management.

“It is a bonus getting the bootcamp delivered locally, as it’s been a tough few seasons and having this event here will hopefully inspire producers to attend,” Ms Paton said.

What do people learn at a bootcamp?

Targeted at young farmers, or those new to managing a farm business, participants can expect to improve their understanding of profit and loss, cash flow budgeting, balance sheets, gross margins, planning for and managing risks, as well as financial planning and analysis.

When is the bootcamp?

Thursday 13 and Thursday  20 June – 9.00am until 4.00pm.

Where is the bootcamp?

Tallangatta Memorial Hall, corner of Towong Street and Banool Road.

Who is delivering the Young Farmer Business Bootcamp?
