Kelly is a Honey Bee Education Officer for Tocal College, NSW Department of Primary Industries based at Tocal, Paterson. She also operates a small commercial beekeeping operation based in Newcastle, NSW.

A self-confessed science nerd, she is extremely passionate about education. Kelly is involved in developing and delivering training for the Certificate III in Beekeeping, the industry developed trade qualification. She liaises with industry and amateur beekeepers alike to ensure education delivery meets the needs of beekeepers across all areas.

Kelly is also passionate about local food, growing produce in urban environments, helping connect people to their food sources and educating others about the vital link bees play in our food security.
