Jeremy is the Regional Manager Irrigation – Mallee, with Agriculture Victoria based in Mildura. Jeremy has been working in irrigation for nearly 25 years in both NSW and Victoria Mallee, helping irrigators improve their irrigation efficiency through improved system performance and adoption of technology such as irrigation scheduling. The current role also involves assisting developers navigate through the New Irrigation Development (NID) process in the Victorian Mallee.
The NID process is required to be followed by developers who must undergo an appropriate level of impact assessment to ensure conditions recommended for inclusion on irrigation related licences are consistent with statutory requirements, plans and considers relevant environmental and cultural values.
