The Change Network – New extensionAUS Community of Practice launched

The Change Network, a new extensionAUS™ Community of Practice, officially launched last week at NSW DPIRD Head Office in Orange.

Led by Matt Adkins, Leader Industry Adoption, this CoP is designed to help early to mid-career practitioners strengthen their adoption and planning skills — essential for driving real impact and supporting change across primary industries.

Whether you’re working on transformation projects, rolling out new practices, or navigating change in the way you work, The Change Network is here to help. Members can connect with peers across teams, regions and organisations, access practical tools and insights, tap into peer and expert support, and build their skills through the extensionAUS national platform.

The launch event was held alongside a 1½-day adoption skills workshop for DPIRD Development Officers and LLS extension staff, facilitated by AgSTAR Projects and focused on effective engagement — a core theme for The Change Network.
