Liz Frost is acting Technical Specialist, Honey Bees in the NSW DPI Intensive Livestock Industries team. She delivers research, development and education programs and contributes to policy development to improve the productivity, profitability and sustainability of the NSW Beekeeping Industry.
Liz is currently developing a Queen Bee Breeding Program at NSW DPI Tocal Ag College with collaborators Dr. Nadine Chapman and Dr. Ben Oldroyd at University of Sydney, Dr. Rob Banks at University of New England, Fiona Chambers CEO of the Wheen Bee Foundation and beekeeping and horticulture industry stakeholders. The Queen Bee Breeding Program is a platform for honey bee genetic research and extension.
Liz also delivers accredited training in pollination, queen breeding and artificial insemination.
