This season of the ‘AgVic Talk’ podcast series highlights personal stories of people who have overcome challenges. You’ll hear from a diverse range of people, including rural women and young farmers about how they recover, grow, modernise, protect and promote Victorian agriculture.

For our first young farmer focused episode you will hear from Jess Knight, a young dairy farmer from Gippsland. Jess had an unconventional pathway into farming – but you wouldn’t know it. Through a lot of hard work, and determination Jess and her family have built their farm business from the ground up.

Never shy of taking on a new challenge Jess is a member of the Young Farmers Advisory Council, Master of Agribusiness student, farm business manager and mum. Jess joins us to share her journey of taking on a farm business and offers her advice to other young farmers who are starting out.
